WEEK ONE

MONDAY:

How I Map the Face in Clinic

In this video I’m showing you how to map the face and draw it on a diagram to reinforce it in our minds. I’m a visual learner – I need to see it, hear it, and write it. If you’re like me, once you do these steps, you have it in your mind and it gets pretty easy.

When we’re in clinic, the patient sits in the chair, Ashley introduces them to me and tells them that Andrea is going to map your face, I’m going to inject, and we’re going to talk about dosing.

In the video, I show you how I do it.

TUESDAY:

Practicing Injecting at Home Using Fruits & Veggies

Once you go through all of the steps of mapping, dosing, writing it down, and drawing it up, I’m going to show you how to inject it into household fruits and vegetables. I use a clementine and mushy apple.

WEDNESDAY:

Learning to Dose the Patient

MY GO-TO!

After the patient leaves, I fill out this anatomy sheet for the patient.

In theory, we’re supposed to have the amounts set by the FDA. But what happens in clinic, it can look a lot different because their anatomy is different.

I map the face and then go through dosing based on their muscle movement not necessarily to the textbook.

THURSDAY:

Let’s Talk About Neurotoxins

My step by step guide to getting your body used to mapping, dosing, drawing up, getting our muscle memory and hands used to the way it pulls out of the vial and into the body. You have to get used to these steps before you start practicing.

Preparing for my first patient!

FRIDAY:

My First Time Mapping a Patient With Ashley!

Don’t forget to mark your patient on your worksheet!
